Visit IISER Registration website and enter your Personal details including your Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Mobile number & Email address and Click on “Generate OTP”.

Enter the security characters as shown and click “Submit” to receive the OTP.

Enter the OTPs received on your mobile and email, and click “Validate” for both.

Check the “I Agree” checkbox, enter the security verification characters as shown on the screen, and click “Reverify”.

Verify the data, check the respective checkboxes, and click “Submit”.

You will receive an email with the subject “Application Form Login Details” containing your User ID and Password for the IISER Application.

Visit IISER Application website and enter your User ID and Password (as received via email), then click “Login”.

The dashboard screen will be displayed. Click “Go to Personal Details Form” to continue filling the application form.

The application form will be displayed with pre-filled details. Enter the remaining personal details, including parents’ details, category details, and photo ID details.

Enter the remaining guardian details, including guardian qualification details. Also, enter an alternate mobile number.

Enter the present and permanent addresses. Then, click “Save & Continue”.

Enter your qualification details, including qualifying exam and board details.

If your board’s Class 12th results have been declared, select “Yes” and fill in your marks in the fields that appear. You must enter marks obtained out of 100 and upload your Class 12th marksheet.

If your results are awaited, you will need to update them in the application before the notified date.

The next step requires you to upload images. You will need a scanned image of your passport-size photograph and your signature.

Upload your scanned photograph and signature in JPG format. The scanned photograph and signature file size must be less than 200KB.

Enter the security verification characters as shown on the screen, check the “I Agree” checkbox, and click “Submit”.

You will be prompted that no changes can be made to the application form after submission. Click “OK”.

Click “IAT Channel” to continue filling the application form.

Click “Click here to fill the Application”.

Provide five preferences for exam city.

Provide IISER preferences in decreasing order of your preference.

Choose the payment gateway, check the “I Agree” checkbox, and click “Submit”.

You will be prompted that no changes can be made to the application form after submission. Click “OK”.

You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Candidates can pay the fees online using a debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.

After successful payment, save the generated confirmation page for future use. The application is not complete until the confirmation page is generated.

NOTE: In case you do not see a transaction success/failure page on the payment gateway page, DO NOT attempt multiple payments. Please verify first whether money has been debited from the account used for the attempted payment. If the money is debited, then contact the helpdesk with the transaction ID to resolve the issue.
