Overview
The Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (AP-EAPCET), formerly known as AP EAMCET, is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). This examination is a prerequisite for admission into various professional courses offered at universities and private colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Exam Pattern
- The exam will be a computer-based test with a duration of 3 hours.
- There will be a total of 160 questions, comprising 80 questions in Mathematics, 40 questions in Physics, and 40 questions in Chemistry.
- All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), i.e., each question will have four options, with only one correct answer.
- Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer.
- There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
- The medium of the question paper will be English and Telugu only.
- Note: Candidates who have studied the qualifying examination in Urdu medium and wish to avail assistance for translating the questions into Urdu will be allotted a test center in Kurnool only.

Note
The candidate does not have the option to choose a specific date or session to appear for the AP EAPCET entrance examination. This information will be available to the candidate only after downloading the Hall Ticket.
If the candidate fails to appear for the examination in the given slot for any reason, they will be treated as absent.
Eligibility
Nationality and Region
- Candidates should be of Indian nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders.
- Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh. They must satisfy the Local / Non-Local status requirements as laid down in Andhra Pradesh.
Qualifying Examination
- Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subject or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology.
- Candidates should have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in the case of candidates belonging to reserved categories) in the subjects specified, taken together in the qualifying examination.
Age
- Candidates should have completed 16 years of age as of 31st December of the year of admission.
- There is no upper age limit.
Syllabus
Mock Test
- An official mock test is available to candidates appearing for AP-EAPCET.
- Candidates can take the mock test to understand the pattern of the computer-based test and familiarize themselves with the interface.
- The mock test is for practice purposes only.

The AP-EAPCET 2025 application fee is as follows:

Registration
- The registrations for the AP-EAPCET 2025 examination will begin on March 15, 2025.
- The last date to apply without a late fee is April 24, 2025.

Application Procedure
- Candidates need to visit the EAPCET website and enter the required basic details.
- Pay the application fee through Credit Card, Debit Card, or at an AP Online Centre.
- Fill out the application form and submit it.
- Take a printout of the application summary page for future reference.
Application Correction
- Candidates will be provided with a facility to make corrections to their application form particulars.
- This is a one-time facility extended to candidates to avoid any hardship.
- The correction facility will be available as per the scheduled timeline.
Hall Ticket / Admit Card
- The hall ticket can be downloaded from the EAPCET site once it is notified.
- The hall ticket will contain the candidate’s name, date of birth, gender, category, test centre name, and the date and time of the examination.
- Candidates are required to produce the hall ticket at the test centre; entry will not be allowed without it.

Answer Keys
- The preliminary answer keys for AP-EAPCET (Engineering) will be made available on the AP-EAPCET website once they are notified.
- If a candidate is unsatisfied with an answer, they can file an objection on or before the stipulated date, along with all supporting documents/justification.
- The decision of the Expert Committee will be final.
Qualifying Marks
- The qualifying percentage of marks for AP-EAPCET is 25% of the maximum marks.
- For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, no minimum qualifying marks are prescribed.
Result / Rank List
- A merit list will be prepared based on the combined score, giving 75% weightage to AP-EAPCET normalized marks and 25% weightage to 10+2 marks.
- The rank card can be downloaded from the EAPCET website.
- The result for AP-EAPCET will be declared as per the scheduled timeline.
Admission Procedure
- Admission will be purely based on the merit in the rank list, which is prepared based on the combined score, giving 75% weightage to AP-EAPCET normalized marks and 25% weightage to 10+2 marks.
- The list of institutions, along with the intake in each discipline and category, will be available on the EAPCET website after the result declaration.
Important Information
- Students need to bring the Hall Ticket along with the filled-in Online Application Form, which should have a recent color passport-size photograph affixed and attested by a Gazetted Officer (or) the Principal of the College where the candidate has studied the qualifying examination.
- The candidate’s signature and left-hand thumb impression must be filled in the respective spaces provided in the filled-in Online Application Form, in the presence of the invigilator only.
